See above at the new estate version of the new Opel / Vauxhall Astra which has been spotted in testing at the Nurburgring.

The new Opel Astra Sports Tourer will be shown this summer with a Paris Motor Show debut to follow in autumn 2010. The Astra Sports Tourer looks like a smaller version of the Opel Insignia station wagon boasting a more raked roofline and a less boxy / conservative shape than the current model.

Engine options for the Astra’s station wagon model will mirror those offered on the five door Astra, so expect a petrol range stretching from a 1.4-liter naturally aspirated four-pot up to a 180 horsepower 1.6-liter turbo, and a comprehensive diesel lineup topping out with a 160HP 2.0-liter CDTi.

The Opel Astra Sports Tourer will be the second model to be added to the new Astra’s range. It will be followed by a sportier-looking three-door hatchback, a coupe convertible and a four-sedan model that will also be sold in the States as a Buick.

The all-new Opel Meriva MPV was filmed inside, outside and on the public road. The practical five-seater 2010 model with suicide rear doors will be offered with six turbocharged diesel and gasoline engines, spanning from 75HP to 140HP.

The 2010 Meriva MPV will have its world premiere at the Geneva Salon in March

The 2.4-liter Opel Ascona 400 Rally Car is pitched against the new Opel’s Insignia 4×4 in a race on ice. Behind the steering wheel of the Ascona 400 is rally legend Christian Geistdörfer while the modern-day Insignia is driven by racing talent Sina Winkelhock, daughter of Jockel Winkelhock.

The Insignia is now offered with an Adaptive 4×4 system as an option on the 220HP 2.0-liter and standard on the 2.8 V6 Turbo and OPC models.

Opel plans to unveil a new Astra hatchback at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September. And today Opelreleased a videos featuring camouflaged prototype models shot during winter testing in Arjeplog, Sweden.

The new Astra will be offered in all sorts of bodystyles including a five-door hatch, sedan, station wagon, coupe-convertible and a coupe-like three-door model.

Take a look at first promo video of hte upcoming Opel Insignia OPC also known as Vauxhall Insignia VXR in Great Britain.

The all-new Opel Insignia OPC will be equipeed with a 325-horsepower 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 engine and an adaptive four-wheel drive system with an electronic rear limited slip differential. Opel claims that its Insignia OPC reaches a top speed of 250 km/h and sprints from 0 to 100km/h in six seconds The Opel Insignia OPC (Vauxhall Insignia VXR) will make its debut on May 7 at the Barcelona Motor Show.

This is a official promo video of new Opel Insignia. The Insignia, that will replace the Vectra in Opel’s range and hopefully, the Aura in Saturn’s line-up.

The Opel Insignia get line of three diesels or four gasoline-powered engines, with the former producing anywhere between 110 hp to 160 hp, and the latter putting out 115 hp from the standard four-cylinder or 260 hp from the range-topping V6. Power is channeled to either the front or all four wheels through a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic.

The Opel Insignia will be unveiled at the London Motor Show this July and will hit showrooms this October.
