Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring Edition

The Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring Edition have landed in Vauxhall showrooms today. The 205HP Opel’s hatch is priced at £22,295, the standard 192HP VXR that starts at £18,900. The faster and more-focused version of the Corsa VXR is powered by a re-worked version of the regular 1.6-litre turbocharged engine which now produces 205-horses at 5,750rpm, up from 192HP and 230-266Nm.
According to Vauxhall, the special edition Corsa VXR runs the 0-60mph sprint in 6.5 seconds and tops out at 143mph.
The hot Corsa VXR Nurburgring Edition equipped with a mechanical, multi-plate limited-slip differential, while handling is further enhanced with new Bilstein springs and dampers, a lowered ride height (20mm up front, 15mm at the rear) and lighter but more powerful Brembo brakes.
The Corsa VXR Nurburgring Edition gets stainless steel dual exhaust tips, newly designed forged aluminium wheels in high-gloss grey, and ‘Nürburgring’ logos on the B-Pillars and front spoiler lip, while there are also two new colors to choose from, apple green ‘Grasshopper’ and red ‘Henna’.
Interior upgrades include the black and red ‘Nurburgring’ lettering on the sill plates and front Recaro seat backs, plus the white stitching on all seats, as well as the handbrake and gearshift console.
